- I just got an email from Andreas Kuessner (from the WildFire team). They will release WildFire7\PPC at the Computer'98 show in Germany. Many new features and a MUI-interface :) Read the announcement here
- A new "soundcard" called Atlantis that will work on all Amigas are under development. It will connect to the diskdriveport. Check out Individual Computers homepage for more info. They also have a product they call KickFlash. This is a flashrom that will be used instead of the standard kickstart roms.
- Version 2.0 of the cli-based RealAudio stream decoder for Amiga has been released on this page.
- A new version of Rebol (v1.0.2) has been released.
- The port of the webbrowser Opera has been put on hold. They think the Amiga market is collapsing. They seem to be misinformed.

- First of all I'm sorry that there has been no updates during the last couple of days. I had exams so that's the reason.
- Phase5 will not attend the Computer98 show in Germany. And they will not release the BlizzardVisionPPC until after that show. This means late November :( Read more about it here this is a (bad) translation from the german news section on Phase5's homepage.
- I got the ClickBoom news 22 mail, and they say that Napalm will not ship on November 1st, but it should not be later than November 15. :(
- I just found out about a Memory Protection system for Amiga called Amiga Bodyguard. It will be marketed by Schatztruhe and developed by the auther of MultiCX. And it's supposed to be released at the end of October. Great :)
- There seems to be a bug in BlizzardPPC if you use many partiotions on your HD. Read this mail from Ralph Schmidt.
- Martin Blom will release a PPC version of AHI if 100 persons will pay a shareware fee. Read more on this page.

- The new R.T.A (Retargetable Audio) system ARTAS is announced as the OS3.5 R.T.A system. ARTAS will allow using AHI drivers if no native drivers exists. Read more on the hompage.

- A demo of a 3D platform game called Tales of Heaven has been released. Check out this page for more info and to download the demo.
- Snes9x, the Super Nintendo emulator has been compiled for PowerUP (not warpos as the old one) and it's v1.10a. Here is a support site for Amiga ports of Snes9x.
- If you are having problems with softkicking 3.1, use BlizKick and use the speedrom switch. The speedrom switch seems to solve the problem with red screens when you reboot.
- I just got Tornado3D v2.0 with PPC support and I must say that it's very good and fast. More info will come on the software page when I've tested it a little more.

- A MPEG video creator that can make MPEG videos with sound has been released on Aminet. It's called mplex. And best of all it supports PPC :)
- A new version of the MAPROM tool Blizkick (v1.14) that finally supports BlizzardPPC boards has been released on Aminet.

- AmigaOS v3.5 will be released in the 1:st quarter of 1999, according to Bill McEwen at the Midwest Amiga Exposition in Ohio. And here is an email from Gary Peake about this. It will support PPC :)
- There is a new version (v1.1) of Myzar the GUI for the RC5-64 clients.

- AmiUncook has been released. This is a program that fixes MP3-files that have been wrongly downloaded because of servers with incorrectly set MIME types. The sound of this files resembles boiling water mixed with the original sample. A must have if you download lots of mp3 files.
- REBOL Technologies has released the Amiga version of REBOL.
- A new version of Raystorm v2.2. Raystorm is a shareware raytracing software with PPC support. It uses WarpOS.

- Carl Sassenrath and REBOL Technologies has released REBOL the new Multimedia and Internet programming language. It's available for many platforms and of course the Amiga, the Amiga version will be availble soon.
